Census Images (by
Heads of Household)
NOTE: 1850 was the first
"promising" census in that it was the first census providing names of
the entire household and also listed the birthplace of each individual.
Sadly, it came too late to firm up our connecting roots to William Cloward, Jr. and William Cloward, Sr. This particular census lists that
all Clowards within the U.S. were within 9 different geographic
locations: Deer Creek, OH; Lawrence, NJ; Middletown, CT; Norristown, PA;
Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Pottawattamie Co, IA; Princeton, NJ;
and Wilmington, DE. Where were your Cloward ancestors at that time?
